Package, Print, Interiors & Brand Application

Design is not a category. It is a way of thinking that applies to anything you can hold, read, or walk through.

Designing anything and everything a brand touches: package design, interior design, environmental graphics, retail spaces, print, publications, and every brand application in between. Most agencies split this work across five departments. Here it lives in one head, which is why it holds together.

The packaging work covers structure, shelf presence, and the unboxing moment: the three seconds where a brand either earns a second look or disappears into the aisle. The environments work translates identity into physical space: interiors, signage, wayfinding, exhibitions. Materials, lighting, and flow telling the story before anyone reads a word.

It all comes back to the same discipline. A brand is a system, and every application is a test of that system. A logo that only works on a business card is not an identity. The best design work makes a brand feel inevitable everywhere it shows up: on a box, on a page, on a wall, in a room.

Anyone can make a logo look good on a screen. The real test is whether the brand survives contact with the physical world: the box, the wall, the room. Design is how it does.

Deliverables

Process

System First

Start with the brand system, not the artifact. Every application answers to the same identity logic. That is what makes it hold together.

Context

The shelf, the room, the hand, the street. Design for the environment where the work actually lives, not the presentation deck.

Craft

Structure, materials, typography, and finish. The details people cannot name but always feel.

Production

Printers, fabricators, contractors, and vendors, managed so the built result matches the approved design.

Selected work

OOHtopia HQ — 13 AIA Kentucky awards

The agency headquarters designed as a brand made physical: architecture, interiors, and environmental graphics all answering to one idea. Thirteen architecture awards later, the point was made.

Heritage & Consumer Brands — Brand systems that survive the shelf

Packaging and brand application work across consumer goods and heritage brands, including work for names like Louisville Slugger and Zig-Zag, where the brand had to perform in the aisle, not just the boardroom.

Questions

Do you handle production, or just design?

Both. Vendor selection, spec sheets, press checks, and fabrication oversight are part of the work. The built result has to match the approved design, and that only happens with supervision.

Can you design packaging for a brand you did not create?

Yes, if the brand system is strong enough to extend. If it is not, that conversation comes first. Putting weak branding on good packaging just ships the problem faster.

Do you work with architects and contractors on interiors?

Constantly. Interior and environment work is collaborative by nature: brand direction, material specification, and graphics from this side; structure and code from theirs.

Design engagements run through Omythic with Mark leading creative direction on every application: packaging, print, environments, and everything between. One system, one standard, no department hand-offs.

Package and print systems typically start in the four to five figures. Interior and environmental programs are scoped with the architecture and fabrication partners involved.
