Branding
Identity Systems & Brand Architecture
“A brand is not a logo. It is a promise, a position, and a point of view, made visible.”
Deliverables
Brand strategy & positioning
Naming & verbal identity
Visual identity systems
Brand architecture
Brand guidelines & governance
Competitive audit & market positioning
Over twenty years of building brands from the ground up. Not surface-level identity refreshes. Full-spectrum brand development, from naming and positioning to visual identity systems, voice architecture, and brand guidelines that actually get used.
The work spans luxury hospitality (21c Museum Hotels), heritage consumer brands (Louisville Slugger), global manufacturing (3M, Herman Miller), and founder-led startups that needed to punch above their weight from day one. Omythic currently ranks number one on Google for "branding agency": above the map, no paid ads. That is the brand doing its job.
Every brand engagement starts with the same question: what do you actually stand for? Not what you sell. Not what you do. What you stand for. Most companies cannot answer that clearly. That is where the work begins.
Philosophy
A brand without conviction is just a logo with anxiety. The brands that survive twenty years are the ones that were never trying to look current.

Marketing Strategy
Go-to-Market & Audience Development
“Strategy is not a slide deck. It is a decision framework that holds up under pressure.”
Deliverables
Go-to-market strategy
Audience segmentation & personas
Campaign architecture
Channel strategy & media planning
Content strategy
Performance measurement frameworks
Marketing strategy that starts with the truth about where you are, not where you wish you were. Go-to-market plans, audience development, campaign architecture, and channel strategy built on actual data and real-world experience, not trend reports.
The approach is rooted in years of running full-service campaigns for brands across hospitality, real estate, consumer goods, and professional services. At OOHology, the branding segment grew sixty-five to seventy percent year over year. That does not happen by accident. It happens when strategy and execution are the same conversation.
Whether it is a product launch, a market entry, or a complete repositioning, the goal is always the same: clarity of message, precision of targeting, and a plan that your team can actually execute without a consultant standing over their shoulder.
Philosophy
If your strategy fits on a slide, it is not a strategy. It is a wish. The market does not reward the careful. It rewards the clear.

Creative Direction
Vision-Casting & Creative Leadership
“Creative direction is not about having the best ideas. It is about creating the conditions where the best ideas survive.”
Deliverables
Fractional creative leadership
Campaign concepting & art direction
Agency oversight & management
Brand consistency audits
Creative team development
Pitch & presentation direction
Leading creative teams and vision-casting for campaigns, product launches, and brand experiences. This is the discipline of knowing what good looks like before it exists, and having the taste, experience, and authority to get a team there.
Fractional creative leadership for organizations that need senior-level creative oversight without the overhead of a full-time hire. This includes everything from campaign concepting and art direction to managing external agencies, reviewing creative output, and ensuring brand consistency across every touchpoint.
The difference between creative direction and creative management is conviction. A creative director does not ask what the client wants. They figure out what the client needs and then make the case for it. That requires trust, and trust is built on a track record of being right more often than not.
Philosophy
Creativity is not a department. It is the whole damn building. Anyone can add more. Knowing what to take away takes discipline, experience, and a willingness to argue.

Web Design
Digital Experiences & Conversion Architecture
“A website is not a brochure. It is your hardest-working employee, and it never sleeps.”
Deliverables
Bespoke web design
Conversion-focused UX
Responsive design systems
Content architecture
SEO-integrated design
Design system documentation
Designing digital experiences that balance beauty with conversion. Every pixel with purpose. Through Web Wishery and Omythic, the work includes bespoke web design and development for brands that refuse to blend in, from single-page brand sites to complex multi-property platforms.
The approach is design-led but conversion-aware. Beautiful sites that do not convert are art projects. Ugly sites that convert are temporary. The goal is always both: something that makes people stop scrolling and then makes them take action.
Deep experience with WordPress, custom builds, Webflow, and modern frameworks. But the platform is never the point. The experience is the point. How does someone feel when they land on your site? Do they trust you? Do they understand what you do? Do they know what to do next? Those are the questions that matter.
Philosophy
Design is not decoration. It is decision-making made visible. Every element on the page should earn its place or get cut.

AI Strategy
AI Integration & Answer Engine Optimization
“AI will not replace creatives. But creatives who use AI will replace those who do not.”
Deliverables
AI workflow integration
Answer engine optimization (AEO)
AI tool selection & implementation
Creative AI prompt engineering
AI-readiness audits
Team training & adoption strategy
Integrating artificial intelligence into creative workflows and business operations, not as a gimmick, but as a genuine force multiplier. Agency AEO was built specifically for the AI search era, helping brands and agencies get found, cited, and trusted by large language models and AI-driven search engines.
This is not about replacing human creativity with machine output. It is about understanding where AI amplifies what humans do best and where it falls short. The real opportunity is in the middle: using AI to handle the mechanical so humans can focus on the meaningful.
The consulting work covers everything from AI workflow integration for creative teams to answer engine optimization strategy for brands that need to show up in AI-generated responses. The future of search is already here. Most brands are not ready for it.
Philosophy
The real conversation about artificial intelligence in creative work is not about replacement. It is about amplification. Use the machine. Do not become one.

Speaking
Keynotes, Panels & Conference Presentations
“A good keynote does not just inform. It rewires how the audience thinks about the problem.”
Deliverables
Conference keynotes
Panel moderation & participation
University guest lectures
Corporate event presentations
Executive fireside chats
Custom topic development
Keynotes and panel appearances on branding, entrepreneurship, creativity, AI, and the future of agencies. Speaking engagements have included AAF Louisville, D2 Cincinnati, SMPS Kentucky, Bellarmine University MBA programs, and numerous industry conferences.
The speaking style is direct, unscripted where possible, and built around real stories from two decades of building companies. No motivational platitudes. No recycled TED talk frameworks. Just honest observations from someone who has built, failed, rebuilt, and kept going.
Topics range from brand strategy and creative leadership to the practical realities of entrepreneurship, AI integration, and why most agencies will not survive the next decade. Available for conferences, corporate events, university lectures, and private executive sessions.
Philosophy
No one lived a great life following the rules. The best talks come from people who have actually done the thing they are talking about.

UX/UI Design
User-Centered Design & Interface Architecture
“The best interface is the one nobody notices. It just works.”
Deliverables
User research & journey mapping
Wireframing & prototyping
High-fidelity UI design
Design system creation
Usability testing
Interaction design & micro-animations
User-centered design that makes complex things feel simple and beautiful things feel intuitive. This is where the sculpture background pays off: understanding form, space, proportion, and how people physically interact with objects translates directly to how they interact with screens.
The work covers everything from user research and journey mapping to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design. But the real value is in the thinking that happens before a single pixel gets placed. Understanding the user, understanding the business goals, and finding the overlap.
Deep experience designing interfaces for SaaS platforms, e-commerce, hospitality booking systems, and content-heavy editorial sites. The common thread is always the same: reduce friction, increase clarity, and make the user feel smart for choosing you.
Philosophy
User-centered design is not about giving people what they ask for. It is about watching what they do and designing for that instead.

Brand Interior Design
Branded Environments & Experiential Spaces
“A brand should not stop at the front door. It should be the reason people walk through it.”
Deliverables
Brand environment strategy
Space planning & concept design
Material & finish specification
Signage & wayfinding design
Experiential installation design
Architect & contractor collaboration
Translating brand identity into physical spaces: offices, retail environments, hospitality venues, and experiential installations. The OOHtopia headquarters won thirteen AIA Kentucky awards. That was not an accident. It was a deliberate expression of brand values made physical.
This discipline sits at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and brand strategy. The goal is never just a beautiful space. It is a space that communicates who you are before anyone says a word. The materials, the lighting, the flow, the details: all of it should tell your story.
Current work through The Epiphery on Main Street in Louisville continues this practice. The space functions as studio, workshop venue, and meeting ground. It is designed to make people think differently the moment they walk in. That is what branded environments do when they are done right.
Philosophy
A building won thirteen AIA awards. The building. Not the agency inside it. That is what happens when brand and space become the same thing.

Workshops
Intensive Strategy & Innovation Sessions
“A workshop is not a meeting with sticky notes. It is a pressure cooker for clarity.”
Deliverables
Brand positioning workshops
Creative problem-solving sessions
Innovation sprint facilitation
Leadership alignment sessions
Team culture workshops
Custom workshop design
Hands-on sessions for teams on brand strategy, creative thinking, and innovation frameworks. Half-day and full-day formats designed to produce real output. Not just inspiration, but actionable strategy that teams can execute immediately.
Workshop formats include brand positioning intensives, creative problem-solving sessions, innovation sprints, and leadership alignment workshops. Each one is custom-designed based on the specific challenge. There is no off-the-shelf curriculum. The problems are too specific for generic solutions.
The facilitation style is direct and high-energy. The goal is to get a room full of smart people past their assumptions and into territory they would not reach on their own. That requires structure, provocation, and the willingness to challenge the highest-ranking person in the room.
Philosophy
The best workshops are uncomfortable. If everyone leaves agreeing with what they believed when they walked in, the workshop failed.

Coaching
Executive & Creative Leadership Development
“Coaching is not advice. It is the right question at the right time from someone who has been there.”
Deliverables
One-on-one executive coaching
Creative leadership development
Founder mentorship
Career transition guidance
Personal brand strategy
Decision-making frameworks
One-on-one mentoring for creative leaders, founders, and teams navigating growth, transition, or transformation. This is not life coaching. It is strategic counsel from someone who has built agencies, launched ventures, managed teams of sixty-eight people, and walked away from a company at its peak.
The coaching practice covers business strategy, creative leadership, personal brand development, and the specific challenges that come with being a creative person running a business. Most creative founders are great at the work and terrible at the business. Or they have become great at the business and lost touch with the work. Both problems are solvable.
Sessions are direct, confidential, and results-oriented. The goal is not to create dependency. It is to give someone the frameworks, perspective, and confidence to make better decisions on their own.
Philosophy
The distance between good and great is the willingness to be uncomfortable. A good coach does not make you comfortable. They make you capable.

Voiceover
Commercial & Narrative Voice Work
“The voice is the most intimate branding tool there is. It bypasses the eyes and goes straight to trust.”
Deliverables
Commercial voiceover
Brand film narration
Documentary narration
Podcast hosting & production
Explainer video voice work
Sonic branding consultation
Professional voice work for commercials, brand films, podcasts, and narrative content. A deep, authoritative voice that has been described as "the sound of bourbon and conviction." Available for commercial spots, documentary narration, brand anthem films, and podcast production.
The voiceover practice grew naturally out of years of presenting, pitching, and hosting. A Life Well Lit, the video podcast filmed on Louisville's Whiskey Row, showcases the conversational range. Commercial work showcases the precision. Both come from the same place: understanding that how something sounds is as important as what it says.
Equipped for remote recording with broadcast-quality audio. Quick turnaround. Directed sessions available via Source-Connect or comparable platforms. The voice adapts to the brand: warm and conversational, authoritative and commanding, or somewhere in between.
Philosophy
Your audience is not stupid. They are busy, skeptical, and allergic to anything that sounds like it was written by a committee. The voice has to be real.

Design
Package, Print, Interiors & Brand Application
“Design is not a category. It is a way of thinking that applies to anything you can hold, read, or walk through.”
Deliverables
Package design & structural concepts
Interior & retail environment design
Brand application & collateral systems
Environmental graphics & wayfinding
Exhibition & experiential design
Print, publication & product design
Designing anything and everything a brand touches: package design, interior design, environmental graphics, retail spaces, print, publications, and every brand application in between. Most agencies split this work across five departments. Here it lives in one head, which is why it holds together.
The packaging work covers structure, shelf presence, and the unboxing moment: the three seconds where a brand either earns a second look or disappears into the aisle. The environments work translates identity into physical space: interiors, signage, wayfinding, exhibitions. Materials, lighting, and flow telling the story before anyone reads a word.
It all comes back to the same discipline. A brand is a system, and every application is a test of that system. A logo that only works on a business card is not an identity. The best design work makes a brand feel inevitable everywhere it shows up: on a box, on a page, on a wall, in a room.
Philosophy
Anyone can make a logo look good on a screen. The real test is whether the brand survives contact with the physical world: the box, the wall, the room. Design is how it does.
